"The Center Cannot Hold" is an adaptation of the novel "Things Fall Apart." Written by
Professor Chinua Achebe. It was first performed by All-Africa Theater Productions in
September 2008, at Cullen Performance Hall on the campus of the University of
Houston. We staged this play again in February 2009 in celebration of black history
month, on the campus of Texas Southern University, in part because of the high
demand by both those who missed the first run and by those that wished to see it again.
"Had I Known" was a dynamic stage play which explored the feelings of a family that
had to deal with the problem of HIV. It looked at things from a gospel viewpoint, seeing
them with Christian values.
